Born in North Carolina with music very much a part of my childhood, I traveled with the Stoney Mountain Cloggers on the Grand Ole Opry when I was 13 years old. I knew then that music would always be my companion... good or bad.

I have been married to Penny for 35 plus years. We raised three great sons. Donny, my oldest, is a gospel singer/songwriter. Tommy was a member of the Old Guard Unit at Arlington National Cemetary and served as a Presidential Honor Guard while he was in the army. He is now a mortgage banker. Adam, my youngest, is an officer and a gentleman in the US Army and just returned home from overseas. I am very proud of my sons.

I retired from Delta Airlines in October of 2000 and presently spend my time playing...anything. Golf, music, with my corvette and occasionally have to work as my wife directs. Penny is a realestate broker and I am a realestate salesman (and part time recording artist!) Life is good and God is great.
